Gina Pugliese obtained a Ph.D. in English literature at Brandeis University before moving west to enroll in a cosmetology academy. Now a writer and editor, she lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Her art journalism appears in Southwest Contemporary and DARIA Art Magazine. She also has a forthcoming debut of short fiction in The Santa Fe Literary Review and has worked as a copyeditor for The Santa Fe Writers Project.
