Gina Pugliese spent close to a decade in New England, obtaining a Ph.D. in English literature from Brandeis University before moving west to enroll in a cosmetology academy. She cut and colored hair for five years. Now a freelance writer and editor, she works remotely from Wyoming and New Mexico.
